For over three decades, MOTOR’s Top 20 Awards has recognized the industry’s outstanding new innovations. This year’s competition welcomes the entire automotive industry and is accepting an array of submissions, from tools to virtual classes to process improvements to shop equipment and supplies... any innovation that benefited an industry stakeholder, employee or your community. 

Did recent trends of the automotive industry, like electric and autonomous vehicles, inspire you to create modern and timely products? Perhaps the adoption of a hybrid work culture impacted your work experience, causing you to come up with creative solutions? Maybe you improved your customers’ experience with your products. Or you improved the product itself. Maybe your organization took steps to address the importance of inclusiveness, diversity or continued education in the workforce, or performed a service to the local community. 

Whatever your solution is, tell us your story for a chance to be recognized by the industry’s longest running and most recognized award program: The MOTOR Top 20!

MOTOR Top 20 Rules

THE GROUND RULES:

1. Submissions must be new or substantially improved and implemented or made available within the United States between March 1, 2022, and June 30, 2023.
2. Submissions must have benefited an industry stakeholder, employee or your community at large.
3. Submissions must be unique.
4. Any one company or each division of a company can enter up to two submissions.
5. For tools, equipment and other tangible product entries, only manufacturers or sole distributors of a product are eligible.

REQUIREMENTS AND DEADLINE:
To enter, please submit a letter or press release describing your tool, product or solution no later than July 10, 2023. Make sure the information submitted contains a summary of benefits to the employee, business and/or industry, including an explanation of why it is unique. At least one image must also be included. (MOTOR reserves the right to reject any submissions either in whole or in part.)

VOTING:
Entries will be judged by your industry peers using an online voting system open to all. Once you receive confirmation that your submission has been approved and voting opens later this summer, spread the word through Twitter and Facebook. Post a picture and caption including the voting form link and hashtag #MOTORTop20, and encourage your followers to vote. (Each submission is limited to one vote per person per day.) Voting will close on August 31, 2023.
